Given that, do original trilogy veterans like Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) need to keep coming back for new shows and movies? Hamill himself doesn’t think so. The universe has expanded so much it’s possible to be a Star Wars fan without ever having seen the original trilogy. The coming years will see numerous new TV projects drop on Disney+ ( Ahsoka, The Acolyte, Skeleton Crew, etc) as well as the return of Rey (Daisy Ridley) to the big screen, and even a movie wrapping up The Mandalorian saga.
